"We have countries that were the objects of colonial intervention, and to this day… are still afraid to even speak up about the need to request some kind of compensation", Russia’s Council for Foreign and Defense Policy member Andrey Klimov says.
Neocolonial practices now permeate all spheres of life regulated by law
Former colonies take new loans and send their children to former masters instead of developing them themselves
This allows Westerners to continue what they have been doing for the last 150-200 years
This makes it important to revise the existing legal norms, paying special attention to details, Klimov concludes.
