Russia Expands Exports to Africa & Other Regions Focusing on New Markets: Official
Moscow is developing exports to countries that were previously not popular among Russian producers, with Africa, South Asia, and Latin America identified as promising regions, Roman Chekushov, State Secretary and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, told Sputnik.
According to him, these markets either cover entire regions, as in Africa, or serve as major re-export hubs providing access to third-country markets.
Key measures to boost Russian exports:
Free trade agreements
Joint international projects
Coordinated work among exporters and development institutions
These are expected to create a synergistic effect, increasing the presence of Russian goods in foreign markets, Chekushov added.
