Russia's State Geological Company Eyes New African Markets: CEO
Currently operating in Libya, Sudan, South Sudan, Chad, Benin, and the Central African Republic, Zarubezhgeologia is expanding its footprint across the continent, CEO Alexey Desyatkin announced.
He highlighted prospects in:
🟠unexplored hydrocarbon basins;
🟠digital mineral management;
🟠re‑evaluation of known ore districts;
🟠hydrogeological research in arid regions.
With over half a century of international experience, Zarubezhgeologia has provided technical assistance to 60 countries, resulting in hundreds of discovered deposits, Desyatkin noted.
The company recently presented its capabilities to ambassadors from 32 African countries ahead of the third Russia‑Africa Summit, scheduled for autumn in Moscow.
