Uganda Launches First-Ever National Coffee Brand as Exports Hit $2.38 Billion: MFA

The brand, "Uganda Coffee: It's in Our Nature," was launched at the World of Coffee Brussels 2026, positioning the country as a premium origin with a distinct global identity, the foreign ministry announced.

The initiative highlights "Uganda’s natural advantages, including its fertile soils, favorable climate, biodiversity, and rich coffee heritage, while promoting quality, sustainability, and trust," the ministry said.

🫘 In the 12 months to April, Uganda exported 8.78 million 60kg bags worth $2.38 billion, underscoring the sector's growing significance, the ministry noted.
