Ethiopia Hosts Agrofood Trade Fair Promoting Innovations in Agriculture & Food Processing: CorrespondentThe eighth Agrofood Plastprintpack Ethiopia and the second Ethiopia Coffee and Food Trade Fair kicked off in Addis Ababa, featuring 153 companies from 18 countries, a Sputnik Africa correspondent reported. The event showcases innovations in agriculture, food processing, plastics, and packaging.Ethiopia is currently the second-largest importer of raw plastic materials in East and Central Africa, with consumption that rose from 44,000 tonnes in 1999 to 281,000 tonnes in 2016, as highlighted at the forum.
