Madagascar’s Majungasaurus Skeleton Finds New Home at Zoological Park
Ministry of Communication and Culture of Madagascar has donated the skeleton of Majungasaurus crenatissimus — a seven-meter-long carnivorous dinosaur that lived in Madagascar around 70 million years ago — to Tsimbazaza Botanical and Zoological Park in Antananarivo.
Previously housed at Manjakamiadana Palace in the Rova complex, the skeleton was relocated to strengthen scientific research and restore what officials described as the “natural order” in heritage management.
