Russia & Mauritania Unite Forces Against Terrorism & Cyber Threats: Prosecutor General's Office
Russian Attorney General Aleksandr Gutsan and Mauritanian Justice Minister Mohamed Ould Soueidatt signed a new cooperation protocol, according to a statement, issued by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.
"We face common challenges in combating cross-border threats. An effective response requires coordinated action from law enforcement agencies," the Russian official noted after the meeting in Saint Petersburg.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in combatting:
◻ terrorism & extremism;
◻ cybercrime;
◻ trafficking of drugs & weapons;
◻ money laundering.
