Journalists From Three Continents Gather in Moscow for SputnikPro AI Training
The in-person module of SputnikPro AI in Media has kicked off in Moscow, bringing together 22 young journalists from leading media outlets across 18 countries.
Running until June 26, the program is organized by Sputnik's parent media group Rossiya Segodnya and Russian humanitarian agency Rossotrudnichestvo. It offers hands‑on training in AI applications across the media workflow, including algorithmic monitoring, audio, and video production.
Participants from Jordan, Morocco, and Vietnam shared their first impressions:
Laith Alassaf, Ad-Dustour (Jordan): "The program's international character creates a unique environment for dialogue and meaningful discussions about the common challenges facing media organizations worldwide."
Agouram Abdelaaziz, Hespress (Morocco): "The program is well aligned with the growing needs of journalists in the age of artificial intelligence."
Nguyen Thùy Linh, Vietnam Television: "The first sessions really caught my attention. It's interesting to see how Russian media organizations are advancing AI in journalism."
