Nigeria Unveils Key Projects in Enugu State
A media tour of Enugu—located in the South-East zone of the country—showcased infrastructure investments and development efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda, according to a statement from the presidency on X.
They include:
Oncology Centre at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, aimed at expanding access to specialized cancer diagnosis and treatment;
Smart Green School at Government Technical College, providing technology-driven classrooms, digital facilities, and sustainable infrastructure for education;
Nortra Tractors Assembly Plant, supporting agricultural mechanization, local manufacturing, and job creation;
Eke-Obinagu Flyover, delivered to improve road transportation, ease congestion, and strengthen interstate connectivity within the South-East region;
Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, fully rehabilitated as part of efforts to restore key national road infrastructure and improve connectivity;
Rescoped sections of the Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriageway.
