Indigenous agricultural knowledge and practices should be utilized as a primary tool to ensure food sovereignty, Bayush Tsegaye, Executive Director of the Ethiopian Agroecology Consortium, said.
To combat severe climate and environmental challenges, the Ethiopian government is currently developing a national agroecology strategy to transform its food system, as reported by a Sputnik Africa correspondent.
