Africa Energy Forum Tackles Industrialization & Clean Energy Initiatives on Its Second Day
🟠The day began with a panel on South Africa’s just energy transition and a closed-door roundtable on industrialization, Sputnik Africa's correspondent reported.
🟠Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy Samantha Graham-Mare hosted an afternoon session on clean cooking, announcing that SA is forming a multi-agency team to coordinate related initiatives, with input from the IEA, WHO, and local departments.
🟠Tomorrow's agenda will feature energy ministers in further closed-door talks, focusing on "Mission 300," which aims to provide energy access to 300 million Africans by 2030.
