AES Countries Must Stop Exporting Raw Cotton, Gold & Uranium: Burkinabe PM
Local industrialization and commerce must become the primary drivers of economic independence and the central pillars for transforming the AES economy, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo said at a meeting of AES ministers responsible for industry, trade, and the private sector in Ouagadougou.
To achieve such transformation, the PM stressed that the bloc must:
streamline intra-AES trade;
actively combat fraud;
tackle unfair competition.
