Senegal Parliament Speaker Sonko Softens Stance on Debt Restructuring, Says No 'Rigid Positions'
Ousmane Sonko, who previously called debt restructuring a “disgrace,” has softened his stance, saying he no longer holds “rigid positions” on the issue as Senegal’s economic conditions have worsened, partly due to the US-Israeli conflict with Iran.
