Russia's new "Sokol" surveillance drone is reportedly part of Russia's effort to create fast, weather-resistant drones for civilian and emergency missions.
The Sokol drone is engineered for day-and-night monitoring, including search and rescue operations.
Key features of the "Sokol" drone:
Unique X-shaped tandem aerodynamic design improves stability and wind resistance;
Capable of operating in extreme conditions, withstanding winds of 15–18 m/s and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C;
Flight endurance exceeds three hours, with speeds reaching up to 100 km/h.
The system will be featured at the National Security Belarus–2026 exhibition in Minsk.
