Russian Forces Encircle Ukrainian Troops in Konstantinovka
Ukrainian commanders initially believed that only small Russian units had entered the town of Konstantinovka.
However, the town was nearly surrounded and largely under Russian control the commander of an assault company from Russia’s Regiment 1194, told Sputnik.
“Small sabotage group tactics were key: Russian forces filtered in, bypassed flanks, and got behind enemy lines before beginning the clearing operation,” he said.
🟠Located 55 kilometers from Donetsk, Konstantinovka was a major logistics hub for Ukrainian forces;
🟠172 buildings in the town have come under Russian control in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
