Tanzania seems to position itself not only as a consumer market but also as a country "seeking long-term productive investment" by inviting Russia to engage in various economic sectors, Alpha Amadu Jalloh, a Sierra Leonean-Australian writer and human rights defender, told Sputnik Africa.
Beneath the formal language, Tanzania must convey a "deeper message" to African nations and the entire world, he noted.
"The message is simple but ambitious. Africa should no longer settle for being merely a market. Africa must increasingly become a center of production, logistics, industrial growth, and economic influence," the speaker emphasized.
