Tanzania Plans to Attract $2B in Investments From Russia: MFA
The country plans to secure these investments over the next three to five years, John Ulanga, Director of International Trade and Economic Diplomacy at the country's MFA, told media, following President Samia Suluhu Hassan's recent visit to Russia.
According to the diplomat, this trip has paved the way for new opportunities in trade and investments, with major Russian companies expressing interest in cooperating in key sectors of the economy, including:
🟠healthcare;
🟠energy;
🟠agriculture;
🟠mining.
"This will position Russia among Tanzania's key development partners," media quoted Ulanga as saying.
