With a 650,000 bpd output, the refinery is ready to supply the entire world with surplus jet fuel, CEO of the refinery David Bird said.
In light of supply disruptions caused by the Iran war, Bird noted a strategic opportunity for non-Gulf refiners.
Expansion plans:
The facility is operating at maximum capacity.
A "ruthless replication" plan aims to add another 700,000 bpd of complex refining by 2028.

Key equipment has been purchased;
construction contracts are being awarded;
a future East African refinery could bring total capacity to 2.1 million bpd.
