DRC Turns to Algerian Oil Company's Inspiring Model to Build Its Oil Industry: Ministry
DRC's Hydrocarbons Minister, Acacia Bandubola Mbongo, visited Sonatrach's headquarters in Algiers to study how the Algerian giant manages the entire oil value chain—from exploration all the way to commercialization, the Congolese Ministry of Hydrocarbons said.
The goal of the visit is to apply Sonatrach's proven model to revitalize the DRC's national oil company, Sonahydroc, and maximize returns from the country's hydrocarbon resources, the ministry added.
