DR Congo Unlocks Oil Potential With Algerian Expertise: Ministry
The DRC and Algeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Algiers to advance joint work in the hydrocarbons sector, the DR Congo's Ministry of Hydrocarbons said in a statement.
Rich in resources across the coastal and central basins, the DR Congo outlined four focus areas of cooperation with Algeria:
🟠attracting investment in oil blocks;
🟠modernizing oil data systems;
🟠upgrading upstream governance;
🟠joint training in technical fields.
Discussions also covered issues on refining, storage, LPG management, and logistics infrastructure, the statement highlighted.
