Africa should "look at the policies of partners" offering "mutual cooperation" that have faced similar challenges but managed "to contain" them, Ahmad Abdulaziz Kadhi, parliamentary secretary, told Sputnik Africa.

According to Kadhi, the areas in which Africa can learn from China and Russia include:

🟠 Integration of diverse populations: e.g., the Uyghur Muslims in China; the Tatar and Chechen Muslims in Russia;

🟠 Fighting off "foreign interference," while Africa is "using the same war on terrorism policy, which has come from a place far away;"

🟠 Ensuring security: Africa is really pulled down by "militancy, extremism and insurgency" today.

"We can come together and discuss the challenges together and offer solutions together," he noted.
