Africa CDC Warns 10 Countries at High Risk of Ebola Spillover

In addition to the DRC and Uganda, the following African nations are at risk of being affected by the Ebola outbreak, according to Africa CDC Director General Jean Kaseya:

South Sudan;

Rwanda;

Kenya;

Tanzania;

Ethiopia;

the Republic of the Congo;

Burundi;

Angola;

Central African Republic;

Zambia.

The response would be "led by Africans in Africa for Africans," Kaseya stressed.

Meanwhile, the WHO reported nearly 750 suspected cases and 177 suspected deaths in the DRC, where the outbreak is spreading rapidly.
