Uganda Proposes Three-Year Multiple-Entry Visa to Boost Tourism & Lift Economy
Uganda is now a lower middle-income country, and boosting tourism could help accelerate its growth, President Museveni said at the 10th Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo.
According to him, tourism in Uganda is anchored in services such as:
▪ Entertainment;
▪ Information and Communications Technology;
▪ Hospitality.
The president also affirmed the government’s commitment to backing the tourism sector.
Uganda’s diverse tourism offerings make it a top destination for nature lovers, Doreen Katusiime, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities, noted.
