Putin and Xi Jinping to Hold Talks in China in Narrow and Expanded Formats

Key points from the statements of Kremlin aide Ushakov on the upcoming visit of the Russian President to the PRC:
🔹 Instead of the traditional article by Putin in Chinese media ahead of the visit, his video address to the citizens of China will be published.
🔹 Russia and China will sign about 40 documents during the visit. These documents concern the deepening of ties in industry, transport, and nuclear energy.
🔹 Putin and Xi Jinping will sign a joint statement on strengthening strategic partnership and will take part in the ceremony opening the cross years of education in Russia and China.
🔹 On May 20, the leaders will discuss current issues on the international agenda during a tea talk.
🔹 Following the talks, Putin and Xi Jinping will make a statement to the media.
