Israeli Forces Enter Syrian Border Zone, Conduct Maneuvers Near Jamlah Village: State Media

An Israeli unit comprising three tanks and two military vehicles entered the border area in the Wadi al-Raqqad region and carried out tactical maneuvers near the village of Jamlah in western Deraa province, Syrian state news agency SANA reported.

Syria’s UN ambassador, Ibrahim Olabi, condemned the incursion, stating that Israeli occupation forces are "sparing no effort" to drag Syria into a large-scale military escalation through nearly daily border violations.

The diplomat called on the international community to end what he described as systematic aggression, noting that ongoing ground incursions, raids, and arbitrary detentions in southern Syria constitute a gross violation of Syrian sovereignty.
