Tanzania Welcomes Sputnik: a ‘Good, Major Step’ for the Country, Minister of State Says
Tanzania “wholeheartedly” welcomes the planned opening of Sputnik's office in the country, Minister of State for Planning and Investment Kitila Mkumbo said on the sidelines of the the Russia-Tanzania business forum in Arusha.
Answering Sputnik Africa’s question, he outlined what this means for Tanzania:
🟠It demonstrates Tanzania's capacity to host major international organizations;
🟠It reflects the country's improving environment for commercial, economic, and cultural cooperation with nations worldwide;
🟠It will help spread Swahili globally, strengthening Tanzanian culture.
