Tanzania Aims to Amplify Africa's Economic Voice on Global Stage at Upcoming Russia-Africa Summit: Minister
Tanzania is "a very significant part of the African community," and Africa can become "an economic voice in this world," Kitila Alexander Kanyama Mkumbo, Minister of State in the President’s Office for Planning and Investment, said, answering Sputnik Africa's question.
Tanzania sees the summit as a platform to affirm Russia's importance as a global partner with valuable expertise in education and technology, he noted on the sidelines of the Russian-Tanzanian Business and Investment Forum.
The country seeks to use the third Russia-Africa Summit to promote business and investment ties—and, above all, to strengthen economic relations with Russia, according to the minister of state.
