During a recent visit to the Rosso Bridge construction site, Senegal’s Infrastructure Minister Déthié Fall called for faster progress on the project, local media reported. Accompanied by his Mauritanian counterpart, the minister said construction had reached 50% completion and urged contractors to accelerate work to meet an interim target of 90% by November, the media reported.The bridge is expected to boost regional integration and cross-border trade as a key link in the Dakar-Nouakchott corridor, while delivering major socio-economic benefits to local communities.
