Accompanied by his Mauritanian counterpart, the minister said construction had reached 50% completion and urged contractors to accelerate work to meet an interim target of 90% by November, the media reported.The bridge is expected to boost regional integration and cross-border trade as a key link in the Dakar-Nouakchott corridor, while delivering major socio-economic benefits to local communities.
