'Macron & French Imperialism Are Direct Threat to Kenyan Sovereignty & Independence,' Activist Says
"We want to demonstrate to the world that not everyone agrees with Macron's arrival here," Booker Ngesa Omole, organizer of the Pan-Africanism Summit Against Imperialism (PASAI), a counter-summit to the Africa Forward Summit, told Sputnik Africa.
On Tuesday, PASAI will lead a protest to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre—where the Africa Forward Summit will take place—to demonstrate against French atrocities in Burkina Faso, Mali, the entire Sahel region, and Ivory Coast, Omole added.
"That protest will be the Kenyans marching [...] to tell President Macron, 'Yankee, go home,'" he said.
