'French Imperialism is Good at Deceiving People With Words,' Kenyan Activist Says
The Africa Forward Summit "started as French-Africa Summit, then it went to Africa-French Summit" before getting its current name "due to the debacle of the French propaganda," Booker Ngesa Omole, organizer of this Monday's Pan-Africanism Summit Against Imperialism (PASAI), told Sputnik Africa.
"PASAI is indeed a counter-summit [to the Africa Forward Summit] to offer a counterpunch and to debunk the lies of Macron," he noted.
French imperialism is involved in "the theft of African intellectual property" as innovations from the continent are appropriated and used in the interest of France, according to Omole.
