A wreath-laying ceremony took place this morning at France’s largest Soviet necropolis—located in Noyers-Saint-Martin—at the "Flowers of Freedom" memorial.

Russian Ambassador to France Alexey Meshkov, along with representatives from the diplomatic missions of the Commonwealth of Independent States, paid tribute to the memory of Soviet citizens who died in France during the Second World War.
