Ghana Plans to Establish New National Airline — First One Since 2004: Statement
The proposed national carrier will be based in Accra, the country's capital — a city poised to emerge as one of Africa's major transport hubs, the transport ministry said in a statement.
The airline will:
🟠operate flights to Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, in addition to routes across the African continent;
🟠be launched no later than the first quarter of 2027;
🟠be funded by private investors and strategic partners with industry specific expertise.
