Security issues are addressed to a lesser extent at the forum, Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on the potential impact of the Russia-Africa summit on security in the African continent amid the escalating situation in Mali.
"The summit is a good platform primarily for discussing issues related to trade and economic interaction, investment cooperation, collaboration in the cultural sphere, and all aspects of humanitarian interaction," he noted.
