Passenger Gives Birth Mid-Flight in DRC—Without Crew Assistance
The incident occurred on a domestic flight in the DR Congo, where the passenger was accompanied only by her two young daughters, aged three and five, local media reported.
It was only after the birth — upon hearing the newborn's cries — that flight attendants alerted other passengers for help.
Four doctors on board—including a senior official at the Ministry of Health—reportedly stepped in to assist the mother and care for the baby.
An ambulance was requested by the pilot to meet the aircraft upon landing in Kinshasa.
