Museveni Launches Uganda's New $300Mln Clinker Cement Plant in Nanduget
The factory built by West China Cement aims to cut import dependence and create over 3,500 jobs at full capacity, state media said, quoting company's chairman Zang Jiewen.
According to him, key specs of the project include:
🟠Clinker output: up to 2M tonnes/year;
🟠Cement output: up to 3M tonnes/year;
🟠Revenue: ~$300M annually
The plant will process local resources for domestic needs and exports.
