Malian Armed Forces & Russian Military Personnel Repel Jihadist Attack Against Bamako
The assailants were unable to disrupt the defense of the Malian capital and suffered heavy losses, a source in Bamako reported.
The terrorists attempted to enter the city from both sides of the Niger River:
🟠From the town of Kati, where military installations and the government residence are located;
🟠From the airport.
The situation remains calm and is under the army's control, according to the Malian General Staff.
