Joint Fighting Infectious Diseases is 'Win-Win Partnership' Between Russia & Africa: Burkinabe Researcher

Burkina Faso has notably received a mobile laboratory from Russia to strengthen its capabilities, Isidore Bonkoungou, Director of the Central Reference Laboratory at INSP, told Sputnik Africa.

"Russia is also providing training under the auspices of the Minister of Health," he added, speaking on the sidelines of the Russian-African International Conference on Combatting Infectious Diseases.

This type of cooperation aims to promote knowledge exchange and technology transfer in a mutually beneficial framework, Bonkoungou noted.

This event is organized in Brazzaville by the Russian sanitary service, Rospotrebnadzor.
