India to Host 4th India-Africa Forum Summit in May, Launches Logo, Theme & Website: Ministry The IAFS-IV summit has been set to take place in New Delhi on May 31 with the theme "IA SPIRIT: India Africa Strategic Partnership for Innovation, Resilience, and Inclusive Transformation," the Ministry of External Affairs announced."Our partnership [...] will be a message of stability in a turbulent world, of reliability in an uncertain one and of solidarity in difficult times," Minister S. Jaishankar stated. India has opened 17 new diplomatic missions in Africa, bringing the total to 46, he noted, adding that Africa is the largest recipient of Indian development support outside its immediate neighborhood. The summit will be preceded by a foreign ministers’ meeting on May 29 and a senior officials' meeting on May 28. The last summit was held in October 2015.
