Algeria & Chad Take ‘Important Step Toward Building Integrated Strategic Partnership,' Says Tebboune
Nearly 30 deals and MoUs were signed following a meeting between President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Chadian counterpart, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, in Algiers, covering a wide range of sectors:
🟠Economy and trade: covering, in particular, energy, mining, infrastructure, and the pharmaceutical industry.
🟠Human resources training: Algeria is committed to “training a greater number of Chadian executives,” emphasized Tebboune.
🟠Security and counterterrorism: coordination in addressing common challenges in the Sahel region.
The two leaders also called on the international community to "assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities regarding the situation in Sudan."
