Cholera, malaria, and typhoid fever continue to affect the continent, whereas these diseases no longer exist in Russia, Anna Popova, head of the Russian sanitary service, said, answering a Sputnik Africa question during her visit to Congo-Brazzaville.
Russia is relying on mobile laboratories to support its African partners.
"In order to work with the same effectiveness across the entire territory, we use mobile laboratories—exactly the same ones that we provide to our colleagues in various African countries. These are our most advanced and most effective developments. And we share them with our partners in different countries," she noted.
