Botswana's independence in 1966 inspired Zimbabwe to struggle for its own liberation, President Emmerson Mnangagwa said at the fifth session of the Zimbabwe-Botswana Binational Commission.

The Zimbabwean president noted significant progress achieved in the countries' bilateral relations in various spheres, including:

🟠security;

🟠health;

🟠trade;

🟠agriculture;

🟠tourism;

🟠wildlife management.

The collaboration must continue to ensure sustainable development and empowerment of people, notably the youth and women, in both countries.
