Meshack Muasa and Jake Alvin Waweru, students from Olkejuado Boys High School in Kenya, have created the machine that cuts chapati preparation time from 20 seconds to just five.

Designed for busy kitchens and rural areas with unreliable power, the device operates without electricity and has already turned heads at a school innovation showcase.
