1⃣ A vehicle-based unit – Operates in remote areas, conducts approximately 1,800 daily tests for 30 infections, with results in 30 minutes.
A pneumatic-frame lab – Compact, easily transportable, and performs over 1,300 tests daily.
The certificates were handed to Congo's Health Minister Jean-Rosaire Ibara by Russian sanitary service head Anna Popova at the Second Russia-Africa Conference on Infectious Diseases in Brazzaville.
This extends previous Russia-Congo health cooperation, which included:
▫A Kamaz-based lab (February 2025) – helped combat a cholera outbreak last August.
▫The pneumatic lab – previously helped contain the 2023 intestinal infection outbreak in Dolisie, reducing cases 16-fold within four weeks.
Signing agreements between the Russian sanitary service and the Congolese Health Ministry.
