Zimbabwe Opens Culture Center in Maphisa
The Isizinda center is "a major step in advancing Zimbabwe’s Creative and Cultural Industries," the Ministry of Arts & Culture stated.
According to the statement, the center will:
🟠Drive talent development and cultural preservation;
🟠Empower youth;
🟠Promote sustainable livelihoods;
🟠Strengthen community participation in arts and culture.
"Preserving our culture is preserving our identity, our pride and our future. [...] In celebrating our diversity, we strengthen our oneness as one united Zimbabwe," said the First Lady, who commissioned the center.
