'United, We Shall Be Able to Conquer' US's Imperialism, SA Activist Says

The US oil blockade imposed on Cuba affects hospitals, schools, old age homes, and all spheres of the Cuban economy, Clever Banganayi, Deputy General-Secretary of the Friends of Cuba Society, told Sputnik Africa.

"Cubans have been fighting against imperialism for more than 60 years and then it just tells us that we need to be very patient," he noted.

According to Banganayi, the US, being a member of the UN, doesn't want to play by its rules, imposing "whatever law it wants" and "bullying" other countries.

"For many years the UN has been condemning especially the blockade on Cuba. Many countries have been fighting against this blockade."
