Ethiopian Youth Builds Locally Made Car, Eyes Mass Production

A young technician in Bahir Dar, Brook Wondifraw, has built a four-seater car using local materials, showcasing his innovation.

The vehicle features:

🟠a 300cc engine;

🟠weighs over 400 kg;

🟠costs approximately $2240 to produce.

Brook previously built generators and industrial machines and now aims to manufacture modern hybrid cars at factory level.

With support, local production could save foreign currency and create jobs, he told local media.
