◾The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud looks forward to strengthening brotherly relations between two nations, noting Djibouti's commitment to democratic progress.
◾Somalia's PM Hamza Abdi Barre suggested that Guelleh will sustain peace, stability, and prosperity of the Djiboutian people, commending them for peaceful electoral process.
◾AU Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf praised Djibouti's significant contribution to promoting regional peace, stability, security, and cooperation in the Horn of Africa.

◀ The presidential elections in Djibouti were held on Friday. Incumbent President Ismail Omar Guelleh has been re-elected for a sixth term, receiving 97.8% of the vote.
