Russia to Boost Infrastructure in Africa: Malian Analyst Urges AES to Cooperate With Togo
Russia represents a major opportunity for industrial and transport development in Africa, as it "really wants to get involved in infrastructure," Ibou Sy told Sputnik Africa.
Togo is positioned as a future "major port to enable certain countries to develop" and a key hub, the creation of which was mentioned by Sergey Lavrov during a recent meeting with the heads of Russian regions, he added.
The AES countries should "join hands with Togo" to develop trade and transport in West Africa, the analyst noted.
