Libya Boosts Oil Output to Ten-Year High, Says National Oil Corporation

Libya’s daily crude oil production has surpassed 1.43 million barrels, with condensate adding another 50,000 barrels per day, the state-run NOC announced.

The North African nation aims to reach 2 million bpd within three years, pending necessary investment.

Libya holds Africa’s largest proven oil reserves, and the sector accounts for more than 90% of export revenues.

The increase marks a recovery from years of conflict-related disruptions, though production remains below the pre‑2011 level of 1.8 million bpd.
