Fleet of New Vehicles to Improve Healthcare Delivery in Sierra Leone's Remote Areas: Presidency
President Julius Maada Bio has allocated a government-funded fleet of vehicles to health workers to enhance their mobility, according to the presidency's statement.
The newly commissioned fleet includes:
◾10 buses;
◾10 utility vehicles;
◾1 mobile maintenance workshop vehicle;
◾450 motorbikes.
“This intervention is not just about vehicles; it is about saving lives, improving access, and delivering quality healthcare where it is most needed,” the president noted.
